About Our Band

The Storm Grove Middle School Band provides an outstanding musical experience for more than 180 students in grades 6 through 8. The SGMS Band offers four bands: Beginning Band, Concert Band, Jazz Band, and Symphonic Band. Students in the SGMS Band also regularly participate in the Indian River All-County Band, Indian River State College Four County Band, and FBA Solo & Ensemble Festival.

The success of our band program comes from the dedicated effort of our students and parents and the support of our administration and school district. Students in the SGMS Band begin their music education at the following elementary schools: Dodgertown Elementary, Glendale Elementary, Liberty Magnet, Osceola Magnet, Pelican Island Elementary, Rosewood Magnet, Sebastian Elementary, and Treasure Coast Elementary. After middle school, most of our students continue their music education in the Vero Beach High School Band or Sebastian River High School Band.
